The Death card is inevitable. The shadowy figure who rides the white horse rules over all. From popes to paupers we must all ride with death one day.
I believe this card reminds us to not waste our time on earth. The Death card can also signify the end of many things, both good and bad. A project that has come to completion, or a event that's run it's course. I can remember working on many constructions projects that took all the mental and physical resources I could muster to complete. In the end the buildings looked great and the owners were happy. I welcomed the end. I was content to finish and tie up all the loose ends. By not having any unfinished business, I was able to begin the next project with renewed vigor.
Death suggests you take care of unfinished business. Ready yourself for the next phase. Make sure your living your values. Once you have finished the project, there will be no going back. You will be judged by how you did your work.
Look to the future and your legacy. Are you living your life as you envisioned? Death is more about the future than any other card in the deck. If you are living your life in accordance with your values, the man in black will be a welcome visitor.
