The Eight of Cups would be a good soul searching card. The man is leaving behind the old and searching out a new path. It could be any number of quests. Career, spiritual, meaning. As we go through life we come to many end points that need to be tidied up before we move on. Put to rest what needs to be finished and then begin with the new.
